OVERVIEW

This weekend, which is part of the Higher Diploma in Neuromuscular Therapy programme, is delivered by Dr. William Elliott. It will explore essential nutrients, hydration, stimulants, protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, minerals, fibre and alcohol. The workshop will then focus on nutrition and chronic pain, the biomechanical factors of chronic pain, inflammation, intolerances related to pain and dysfunction, dietary aspects of anxiety and pain and detoxification for chronic pain.

Dr. Elliott is an exercise physiologist and founder of HealthBuilding Inc. and has taught extensively on health and physiology related programmes at the University of Colorado, the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy, Penrose Main Hospital, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Colorado Springs and on the University of Chester accredited MSc in Neuromuscular Therapy delivered at the National Training Centre , Dublin.

FEES

The standard fee of this workshop is €390.00. Graduates and students of the National Qualification in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy receive a 10% discount and ANMPT Members receive a 25% discount off workshop fee.
