Movements performed with any exercise tool can be dangerous to those who have back or shoulder problems, or a weak core, when performed without proper education and progression. Kettlebell Training is very beneficial to health and can offer improved mobility, range of motion, agility, cardio vascular endurance, mental toughness and increased strength.

Successful completion of this kettlebell training course will give qualified health fitness instructors and personal trainers the knowledge and skills to prescribe safe, effective and appropriate kettlebell training methods which are suitable for group and one to one training.

Our Kettlebell Training Team

Only fully qualified tutors deliver the Kettlebell Training course, with each tutor having recognised industry and educational experience in their individual fields.

Daniel Iannelli

Daniel is a resistance training tutor for the NTC and has a background in Martial Arts. He also trains and competes in Brazilian jiu jitsu,

Daniel holds a Higher National Diploma in Sports and Leisure Management, Sports Recreation Level 5 and is currently studying for his degree in Strength and Conditioning.

Daniel also teaches on NTC’s Kettlebell Training, Suspension Training and Strength and Conditioning programmes.

Craig Clifford

Craig completed the National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training in 2011 and has also completed Kettlebells, Step Aerobics, Suspension Training and Strength and Conditioning advanced certification programmes with NTC.

Craig operates his own successful fitness facility and Personal Training business. He mainly tutors Resistance Training, Fitness Assessment and Exercise Principles.

Noeleen Gregory, MSc

Noeleen Gregory is expert in a variety of modules on various NTC courses including:

  • Resistance Training
  • Exercise Principles
  • Fitness Assessment
  • Sports Nutrition
  • Pilates
  • Stability Ball Training
  • Exercise for Older Adults

Her knowledge and wisdom is impeccable and is backed up by a life dedicated to exercise and nutrition – both personally and professionally. Noeleen has an innate ability to transfer knowledge to students in an informative yet relaxed atmosphere. Her enthusiasm and passion for fitness has influenced thousands of students to pursue a career in the health fitness industry.

Noeleen is also the National Training Centre’s examinations coordinator and is a highly respected member of the tutoring team for the Dundalk Institute of Technology’s B.Sc (Hons) in Health and Physical Activity.

Michelle O’Melia, MSc

Michelle has been delivering educational excellence at the National Training Centre since 2000. She is passionate about all aspects of fitness and health and holds a Masters Degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Chester.

Michelle teaches exercise to music, anatomy and physiology, fitness assessment and exercise physiology on our primary health fitness programmes and also delivers suspension training and indoor cycling.

Laura Connick BSc

In addition to the National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training, Laura holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Management from UCD and has worked in some of Dublin’s most established gyms.

Laura specialises in helping clients to achieve and maintain optimal body weight and ensures they achieve their goals in a healthy and sustainable fashion.

Laura is dedicated to continuing professional development and constantly expands her knowledge base and training to ensure she can provide the best advice to her clients.

Larry Geraghty

Larry, who like all NTC tutors holds the National University of Ireland’s Diploma in Training and Continuing Education teaches primarily resistance training on our fitness programmes and also heads up the strength and conditioning course.

Larry is also a tutor on the National Qualification in Neuromuscular Physical therapy and runs his own successful private practice for the treatment of pain, injury and dysfunction.
